The President of ARIN-EA, Ms. Lilian Kafiti attended the AML-CFT ESCAY Project workshop in Mauritius. During the workshop the President shared her vast experience as the ARIN-EA president and fielding questions on the status of asset recovery in the Eastern Africa region, 

The President noted that such fora are very useful for exchange of ideas and information and for growing one's network. She also stressed that bringing the agencies' directors together helped to enhance cooperation across regions and will eventually bear fruit in joint and cross border efforts to fight against money laundering and illicit financial flows. But above all, the President urged all stakeholders to talk less, and to walk the talk!
