The heads of anti-corruption authorities in Eastern Africa (under the umbrella of EAAACA) and their technical persons held a meeting with the Secretary General of the East African Community, H.E. Liberat Mfumekeko, at the EAC headquarters, Arusha. Among matters deliberated is the conclusion of the long pending draft EAC Protocol on Preventing and Combating Corruption, as well as involvement of the ACAs by the EAC in matters anti-corruption and promotion of good governance in the region.
