With support from GIZ Global IFF Program, the Eastern Africa Association of Anti-Corruption Authorities (EAAACA) held its 15th Annual General Meeting from 2nd – 3rd May 2024.

EAAACA held several meetings from 29th April 2024 – 3rd May 2024 at Haile Grand Hotel in Addis Ababa – Ethiopia and these include;

29th April - ARINEA Steering Group Meeting 

30th April – 7TH ARINEA Annual General Meeting

1st May – 26TH EAAACA EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING / ARINEA training and Launch of In-Country Structures

2nd May – EAAACA Conference

3rd May – EAAACA 15TH AGM

The one-week meetings were hosted by the Federal Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission of Ethiopia under the theme; Coordination, collaboration, and Corporation in Asset Recovery and the fight against corruption.

During the 15th Annual General Meeting, Uganda was elected as the new President of the Association.

The next 16th EAAACA Annual General Meeting is to be hosted by the Inspectorate of Government of Uganda in November.
